Homeschool Resources

Beth Jones

This is not a comprehensive list by any means, but here are some excellent books for your homeschool. I find Amazon.com very convenient shopping – delivered straight to your front door, in usually a matter of days, at good prices! You can click on the Amazon link on this page or the Home page under “Archives,” and search for any of these books on the Amazon site.

You can find many of these at Border’s or Barnes and Nobles bookstores, discount book stores, homeschool discount catalogs, homeschool websites, thrift stores, library end-of-the-year sales, and even garage sales. Keep your eyes open for bargains, and happy homeschooling! Books are some of our best friends! Ask the Lord, and HE will help you to find some goodies, custom-tailored for your children’s specific needs and wants!

Home School Legal Defense Association

Every year, I have joined HSLDA to ensure legal protection for homeschooling. Even if you or I never need their legal services for our homeschooled children, through membership we can stand together to preserve homeschool freedom.

A lawyer is on call 24/7. You get weekly alerts and news on local, state, national, and international levels. With its benefits, you receive their weekly updates and alerts, you can sell and buy homeschool books at a discount through the Online Curriculum Market, you receive The Homeschool Court Report, you get discounts in the HSLDA bookstore, and you can receive extra benefits through the HSDLA PerX program.

Home School Legal Defense Association is a nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.
