Our oldest daughter Heather, her husband Kyle, and their two daughters Annabelle and Violet are at the beach in Destin, FL, this week with Kyle’s mom and her family for vacation. They rented a beautiful beach house. Today they’re going to the Hard Rock Cafe’ and the Gulfarium, where they’ll see dolphins, penguins, sea lions, and other marine life.

I’d love to be there with them, and am praying to be able to go soon. The ocean is so peaceful and beautiful. It’s also a great place for inspiration to write. Each time I go to the ocean, I think that there is no way for people to look at something like that and not believe in God, a Creator. The Bible says this is true:

“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” ~ Romans 1:20, NLT
