To celebrate Mother’s Day, I offered a KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) free promotion of my new eBook, The Cinderella Story: The Power of Shoes, which has been an Amazon Best Seller in its category and sub-categories.
There were 1,671 eBooks downloaded during the 2-day special promo, and I received 3 new positive reviews about the eBook here. So I consider offering the eBook worth it!
If you downloaded this eBook or have bought it, I’d love to know what you think and would appreciate a review at Amazon! You can post your review here.
I still have 3 more days during a 90-day period at KDP to offer my eBook free, so stay tuned!
What’s new
Right now I’m working on 3 new book ideas. The Cinderella Story: The Power of Shoes is the 1st non-fiction book in my series, The Cinderella Story series (Copyright 2015 Beth Jones www.BethJones.net).
My next book in this series is The Cinderella Story: The Power of Dreams (copyright 2015 Beth Jones www.BethJones.net). This will be a short, non-fiction eBook available at Amazon soon and I’ve decided it’s going to be an Amazon Best Seller, too!
My amazing graphic designer, Christine Dupre, already created the beautiful cover for it. Here it is below. I love it! What do you think?
I’m also now working on my first FICTION book, Storm Tossed: A troubled woman finds peace with herself and with God in the midst of life’s storms.
This is way out of my comfort zone! My husband Ray has been telling me for years to write a fiction book. He primarily reads fiction, and says that people want to read fiction stories as an “escape” from life’s stressors.
Do you agree or disagree? Do you like to read fiction or non-fiction books?
I’ve already written a couple of chapters and am working on it today.
Last week, I had the eBook’s cover professionally designed after I chose the image at Istock and LOVE it! What do you think of it?
My 3rd book is called I love his hands: Reflections of hope & light from an imperfect marriage by an imperfect marriage.
It is non-fiction, shares things I’ve learned (the hard way!) from my marriage(s), and is for Christian women in difficult marriages, encouraging them to continue praying and to not give up.
In this book, I’m comparing marriage to the difficult art of creating traditional stained glass windows. I already chose the cover photo’s image for it at Istock, which you can see below. I’ll hire a professional graphic designer to do this cover, too. This book will probably be longer than the first two, so it will take more time to write.
Please pray for God’s anointing on me to write these books~ His words, not my own, to encourage others and to give them hope through faith in Christ and the transforming power of God’s word.
