Moses told God that he wanted to see His glory. God told Moses no man could see His face, and live. But He said His glory would pass by Moses in the cleft of the rock, and Moses could see His back side. I have often wondered about that verse, and reminded God that He is no respecter of persons – if Moses could see a side of God that no one before or since has seen, then I want to see Him, too. Maybe His chin, or His ear? The point is that I desire that deep intimacy with God. Each day we need that quiet time with God and His word to be filled up with Him. It’s like having coffee with God each day. Join Beth today as she shares encouragement from her book Walking With God and God’s word on intimacy with God in prayer.
