It’s been quiet the last few days here, mostly because lately I feel tired and don’t want to write boring posts. So instead, I’ve been doing important things like:
- Wearing my comfy cute pj’s all day yesterday and eating peanut M & M’s for lunch.
- Reading The Pioneer Woman’s recipe for chicken fried steak (she makes it look so easy!) and laughing at her post on Charlie her dog, who ran off.
- Soaking in chapter 7 of One Thousand Gifts about Ann’s son throwing toast in his brother’s face and her wanting to throttle him. She then discovered it really wasn’t about toast, as we moms all find out when we take the time to talk to our children and go deeper down into their hearts. “The parent must always self-parent first, self-preach before child-teach, because who can bring peace unless they’ve held their own peace?” As the video shares, we as parents always need to deal with ourselves first.
Well, the little siesta has been fun, but it’s time that I get out of my pajamas, don’t you think? Of February’s goals, I accomplished two of them and more. I haven’t finished my ebook yet on women and spiritual warfare because I’m now discussing a contract for copyrights with an attorney, since the ebook has multiple contributor writers and this is holding things up. But it won’t be long!
I’ve already received some of the stories for the ebook and girls, they are powerful! I can’t wait until this ebook comes out. You will be so blessed. If you’re not already on my update list to hear the latest about this ebook before I make it available at this site, be sure to sign up at www.bethjones.net under the little pencil on the right-hand side. Just enter your name and email address.
Today is March 1, so here are my 3 in 30 goals for March:
*Continue working on the ebook and hire the attorney to write the contracts (please pray for provision to hire her! God has given me favor with her on costs.)
*Attend all of my daughter’s “humba” classes this month and exercise at least 2-3 additional days a week. Keep me accountable by sending me military-sergeant emails, “Get your lazy bottom outta’ that chair!” No, “humba” wasn’t a typo. Heather’s been teaching a Zumba class, but since she isn’t officially certified yet to teach it, she can get in trouble with Zumba (I know, right? So ridiculous!). One of Heather’s friends suggested she call it “humba” since her name starts with the letter “h.” It’s a joke we’re enjoying using now.
*Create my new webinar-bundle set product sales page, using a video sales page, and get the page up on my site.
Poem On March
“Each leaf,
each blade of grass
vies for attention.
Even weeds
carry tiny blossoms
to astonish us.”
– Marianne Poloskey, Sunday in Spring
